Woohoo, the Rockies did it! They beat the Diamondbacks and the Padres lost. So now they go and play a tie breaker game and have HOMEFIELD advantage!!! Hope and pray they win this one and go on to the playoffs. With as hard as they've worked these last few months they deserve it.
On a more somber note, I come home after work tonight to find that one of my dogs, Midnight almost blew up the house tonight. I had bought a couple of brand new Butane fireplace lighters a couple of weeks ago and set the one that I wasn't using on the windowsill by the woodstove. When I came home tonight, he had chewed it to pieces. How he managed to not blow his head off or blow the roof off the house I don't know. Freaked me out to find all those pieces laying on the floor when I got home.
Sometimes I don't know what I'm going to do with him. He misses me so much when I'm at work that he pulls my dirty clothes out into the livingroom and lays on them all night until I come home. I love the little guy to death, but I think he's going to be the death of me sometimes.
Oh well, I just need to figure out how to keep him out of trouble before he does something really stupid.
