Well, the Rockies won tonight against the Diamondbacks. Now all I've got to do is hope and pray that they win tomorrow and the Padres, Phillies and Mets lose. That'll force a play off game against the Padres for the Wild card spot for the playoffs. I hope they make it. They've done real good this year and deserve a chance.
Every once in a while you run across something funny that you just have to share. Well, my best friend and I put stuff like that all the time in our shift reports at work. The one for tonight goes: As I was laying in bed last night looking up at the stars, I had to ponder, "What happened to the ceiling". Stuff like that just cracks me up.
My Muse still isn't talking to me, so my stories are slow in the making right now. Hopefully she'll get that broomstick out of her *ahem* and start giving me some more ideas soon. I'd really like to get the ball rolling and get some more writing done. (she's still pissed I want to rewrite part one of my story).
The weather has been getting colder here in Colorado and especially at 9000 feet. The temp has dropped into the thirties for the past few nights and I've been sitting here nursing my woodstove for heat. Good thing I got two cords of wood delivered in the last two weeks. Right now it's eighty degrees in here and I'm ready for bed.
The pups have opened thier eyes and I scared the hell out of them when I got home tonight. I went to check on them and I guess they aren't used to seeing me yet as they started to yip and whine when I got too close. Guess I'll have to spend more time with them to get them used to me and people in general.
That's it for now.
